Dear Councillor Bruce,
Further to my update on the Woodlesford Mitigation works towards the end of April I am pleased to provide you with a current update of the works.
The works continue to progress well and in line with the construction programme. The Yorkshire Water sewer diversion mentioned in my previous update is now complete, as are the sheet pile installations at both The Locks and The Maltings. The brick cladding and embankment works to conceal the sheet piles are underway, and landscaping/re-profiling works at The Locks are due to commence this week.
The temporary footpath diversion along the towpath remains in place and will be removed on completion of the works in July.
