Out and about

Been out and about in Rothwell meeting lots more people as well as in Oulton, Carlton and Woodlesford. I think it’s really important to hear what people’s priorities are and what’s important to them. I’m pleased to have been able to help with lots of individual issues for local residents as well as issues affecting a number of people such as getting lights put on at the back of the flats on Wood Lane put on for the safety of the older residents and getting a better recycling service for people on Pasture View Road as many of the residents hadn’t been able to recycle their waste. I’ve found that people really want to recycle and do their bit towards reducing global warming. Residents on the Windmills in Rothwell are without a recycling collection and I’ve taken up this issue with senior officers of the council.
