West Yorkshire Police has now officially launched its new website for the Neighbourhood Policing Teams. Thanks to the Labour government’s investment in neighbourhood policing teams we now have an inspector leading a new and expanding community police team in Rothwell.

The full-time police officers are supported by a team of police community support officers who are proving very popular with most local people I speak to. The main criticism that I hear is that there still aren’t enough of them. The good news is that the number is increasing and should continue to increase.
